Our staff is comprised of diverse leaders who are committed to the recovery of our clients. Our supportive and compassionate counselors have many years of combined experience. We understand the disease of addiction and co-occurring disorders. Throughout the program, we will work in partnership with our clients to overcome their addiction through a 12 Step methodology. We are dedicated to helping men find their way to sobriety.
B.S., CAC II, NCACII, SAP
Larry Jenkins, serves as Chief Executive Officer and Program Director at Arise. He oversees day to day operations, provides leadership for the staff, schedules client activities, and is responsible for the overall financial stability of the organization. Larry earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Gordon College. He has also earned the Addiction Counselor’s Certification Level II. He also holds professional certifications in anger management, corrective thinking and family violence prevention. He is also a certified DUI clinical evaluator and treatment provider. From 2000 to 2011 Larry served as the Director of the Metro Atlanta Recovery Residence (MARR South) Program. He is also an alumnus of the MARR program. Larry brings over 20 years of experience providing individual and group therapy services, education, and leadership in community-based and private practice settings.
Daniel J. Body
Vice President of Administrative Services
Dan Body is the Vice President of Administrative Services for Arise. He is an experienced leader within the healthcare industry and has served both in executive and attorney roles for a variety of healthcare provider organizations across the country. Dan has served as the CEO for several psychiatric hospitals. He has also held the role of Chief Operating Officer with a community mental health center, and he was the co-founder of a specialty healthcare startup. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Management as well as an MBA and MSPH. He also attended law school at St. Louis University. Dan is a licensed attorney and has represented a broad range of healthcare organizations. Throughout his career Dan has demonstrated a strong commitment to service. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time in the outdoors and traveling, and is a passionate St. Louis Cardinal’s fan.
Jarrett O'Donnell supervises Arise clients in a social-model residential and sober living setting. He is involved with business development and marketing strategies for the facility. Jarrett is a sales & business development professional with over 15 years of experience in achieving superior levels of revenue production for a variety of organizations. Jarrett is driven by a passion for cultivating productive relationships with clients and establishing high value market territories. He earned a bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance at Georgia State University. He holds the following licenses in the state of GA: Real Estate Salesperson – member Fayette County Board of Realtors; Property & Casualty Insurance license; Accident & Sickness Insurance license; Certified Insurance Counselor designation (CIC). Jarrett has four daughters and enjoys fitness training, hiking, and reading.
Jacqueline P. Rushin
Senior Vice President of Strategy and Transformation
Jacque Rushin is the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. She has over 30 years of combined leadership experience across several industries including technology, telecommunications, and healthcare. She has served in key leadership positions with Women in Technology (WIT) and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG). She also served on the board of Project Healthy Grandparent, a community outreach and research program at Georgia State University. Jacque is known for her leadership and organizational management skills as well as her care and concern for creating healthier, more inclusive communities. Jacque is a managing partner at Rich Rush Enterprises. She is also a motivational speaker, life coach, and mentor. She is a recipient of the International Alliance of Women’s World of Difference 100 Award, and she was awarded the first Visionary Leadership Award by the Atlanta Center for Self-Sufficiency. She is a graduate of Alabama A&M University with a BS in Business Education and Sociology and she earned an MBA at Mercer University. She is currently pursuing an MS in addiction counseling. Jacque is a community activist who enjoys spending time with her family, writing, and reading great literature.
